Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds Policy

This Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds Policy ("Policy") governs all subscription purchases made for the BrainPal mobile app ("BrainPal", "we", "us", or "our"), a product of EpowerX Labs Private Limited. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

1. Subscription Plans and Validity

   BrainPal Pro is available as auto-renewing subscriptions:

   • Monthly Plan: INR 49–199 (or the equivalent in your local currency), depending on offers available at the time of purchase. Valid for 30 days.
   • Annual Plan: INR 199–999 (or the equivalent in your local currency), depending on offers available at the time of purchase. Valid for 365 days.

   The price displayed in the app at the time of purchase reflects any applicable promotions and is the price you will be charged.

   Free Trials

   Some plans include a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription price is automatically charged at the end of the trial period. You can cancel at any time during the trial at no cost.

2. Payments via In-App Checkout (Razorpay)

   • Payment is charged through Razorpay when you confirm the purchase in the app.
   • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.
   • You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime from the Subscription section in BrainPal's settings.
   • After cancellation, access to Pro features continues until the end of the paid period.

3. Payments via Google Play

   • Payment is charged to your Google Play account at purchase confirmation.
   • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. Renewal pricing may change in line with current offers and applicable price updates shown on Google Play.
   • Subscriptions can be managed or canceled via your Google Play account (Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions) or through the in-app subscription page.
   • After cancellation, access to Pro features continues until the end of the paid period.

4. Manual Cancellation

   You can cancel anytime by:

   • Using the Subscription section in BrainPal's settings; or
   • Managing your subscription in your Google Play account (for purchases made via Google Play).

   No partial-period refunds are provided for early termination, except as set out under "Refunds" below.

5. Refunds

   We offer a simple refund window:

   • You may request a refund within 24 hours of purchase or renewal.
   • Refund requests are reviewed for eligibility (e.g., accidental purchase, duplicate charge, technical issues).
   • Approved refunds are credited within 7 days to the original mode of payment.

   To request a refund, email help@brainpalapp.ai from the email address associated with your purchase, along with your payment receipt (Razorpay receipt or Google Play order receipt).

   Note: Refunds for purchases made via Google Play may be handled directly by Google per their policies.

6. Invoices and Support

   • For invoices or payment confirmations, please use the Razorpay receipt or Google Play order receipt sent to your email.
   • Please contact help@brainpalapp.ai for billing questions or disputes before initiating any chargeback.

7. Taxes and Compliance

   Prices shown include applicable taxes as required by law, unless otherwise stated. Transactions are subject to applicable financial and digital payments regulations and, for purchases made via Google Play, to Google Play's policies.

8. Jurisdiction and Interpretation

   This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. The courts of Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or related to this Policy. BrainPal reserves the right to make the final and binding interpretation of any terms contained herein.

9. Changes to This Policy

   We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly. Continued use of BrainPal after updates constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
